Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced stream in the grounds, 200 yards away. Apartment 2, one of two apartments, are situated in the beautiful Glendoune House, with its large grounds, stunning sea views, walled garden and access onto the hills, perfect for walkers. Situated on the edge of the coastal town of Girvan, there are many local amenities including shops, bars, restaurants and a beautiful sandy beach. Boat trips can be taken from the harbour to Ailsa Craig to see the nesting birds. Girvan also has a leisure centre with swimming pool, fitness suite and playzone for children.

Glendoune House is situated on the Ayrshire Coastal Path, a 100-mile long coastal walk with one of the finest panoramic coastlines in the British Isles. Crowned with a superb backdrop of the ever-changing profile of the mountains of Arran across the Firth of Clyde, this coastline is steeped in history and teeming with wildlife, including red squirrels, deer, otters and seals, a haven for bird watchers. The seaside towns of Ayr, Prestwick and Troon are all close by with beautiful sandy beaches and stunning views towards the Isle of Arran. Day trips can be taken to Arran and Cumbrae and are well worth the effort.

There are gardens and castles to visit, including National Trust Culzean Castle Country Park and the stunning Dumfries House. For those who enjoy outdoor activites, horse riding, fishing, racing and a choice of golf courses, including the world famous Turnberry Golf Club, are all available close by. There are transport links to Glasgow for a day out, day trips to Ireland from Cairnryan, and Dumfries and Galloway within easy reach. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 800 yards.
