Kitchen area: With breakfast bar, electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, wine cooler, dishwasher and washing machine.
Bedroom area: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request).
Bathroom: With bath, shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Welcome pack. Lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ (available spring/summer). Wood fired tub for 2 (private). 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (working farm). Kennel available (at cost). Bike store. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is a fenced river in the grounds. Nestling in the scenic Sidlaw Hills, this contemporary lodge, built into a slope, comprises Bluebell Lodge on the ground floor and Snowdrop Lodge on the first floor. Designed to a very good specification, it is set in the attractive orchard grounds of the owners working farm. Appealing to those who wish for comfort combined with peaceful surroundings, it has been carefully furnished with good quality furnishings and thoughtful little touches. The cosy wood burner in the living area and private wood fired tub on the patio ensure a restful holiday away from the stress of modern life. Your dog is always welcome and daycare services for them are also available by arrangement. Bluebell Lodge, nestled into the hillside, is accessed by external steps down the side of the lodge, and opens onto a patio with deciduous woodland beyond.
Milton Farm is situated in the very heart of Scotland and is the ideal base from which to explore the rest of the country. With excellent road, rail and air links, there is easy access from all parts of the country. Explore the highlands, lowlands, rivers and lochs which make up the stunning scenery. Some excellent walks, cycle routes, mountain bike trails, water sports and fishing are all easily available, and Perthshire is famous for some of the finest trout and salmon fishing in Scotland! There are many wonderful routes for walkers and cyclists, from strolls through the rolling countryside near the lodges to breezy coastal walks on the east coast around Dundee, Fife and Edinburgh. The lodges are situated a short drive from Dundee and Perth, where the Scone Palace and Perth Racecourse are situated. The worlds leading museum of art and design is perfect for guests who love culture, and is only 9 miles away. The childhood home of H.M. The Queen, Glamis Castle is only 8 miles away, and provides an idyllic day out for all. There is also the seaside town of St Andrews nestled just 20 miles away, which is known for its many golf courses, as well as its castle and university. Beach 16 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.
