Located just off the A30, a couple of miles south of Jamaica Inn, the famous smugglers haunt immortalised by Daphne du Maurier, Cornwall’s largest inland water has a surface area of a whopping 900 acres – that’s about 682 football pitches!

With a number of car parks, picnic areas and lakeside walks, Colliford provides the opportunity for a peaceful few hours in the countryside. They have also welcomed ‘The Sisters’ mobile catering van to Colliford, offering you a delicious range of hot drinks and homemade cakes.

Three way marked walks take in neighbouring moorland and the Nature Reserve is an important site for birdlife where sighting in winter can include; Pochard, Wigeon, Goldeneye, Golden Plover, Lapwing and Snipe.

Open Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm excluding bank holidays.
